Jabatan Vikaris dalam Gereja Misi Injili Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to clearly know about the functions and duties of the vicar office in the Indonesian Evangelical Mission Church (GMII) whose position is clearly stated in the Basic Rules and Household Procedures as a benchmark in its implementation in the field. This study uses a qualitative method through reviewing the documents owned so as to produce data in the form of written and oral words. From the results of this study it is illustrated that the position of vicar is a position that has the same position as the position of Pastor or pastor of the congregation so that in carrying out its duties and functions a vicar can also occupy the role of administrator in one of the organizational structures of GMII in the form of a Regional Assembly at a certain level of service area. Based on its position in the TD and TRT of GMII, the position of Vicar is an integral part of the GMII structure.
